I have had this done for a while but just got around to posting the photos. I have removed the crankcase vent tube from the vent to the air box and fitted a breather filter. This should keep things cleaner in the air box and keep things from falling into the engine via the vent.

Both the K&N 62-1330 and 62-1340 will work. I fitted the 1330 and noticed it was a little snug going over the vent. Tom used the 1340 and said it fit better. I was able to fit it without removing anything else, it just took quite a bit of persuasion. Tom loosened the front of the air box and lifted it slightly.

I just had the tuneboy and Triple K&Ns done in Sydney by Wayne & Brad at Team Moto, And immediately noticed the rattling/hammering sound. Before I had this done, I was unaware that this would happen as I am a novice to this sort of thing. The bike was done only two days ago, and my first impression was I cant put up with this hammering noise, especially when cruising along the highway at around 3000 revs or so. The bike does go really well and seems to rev faster. But the noise does detract from the enjoyment of the ride. JD reckons I should install Uni Filters as this will help. Has anyone else been down this road and have any advice.

Without going to the manual is there any kind of a O2 sensor in the intake like a car? and if so has anyone had the problem many cars have with the oil from K&N's coating the sensor and messing it up?

so I take it, from that answer there is nothing I can do? except go back to stock and lose some hp.Yesterday I went for a good ride and I did seem to get more use to it, perhaps today will be even better. I don't want to rush into reversing what I've done, I'll have a few more rides and see if I can get use to it.
