Perspective and how the R3 distorts it

Be wary of an 1198, if well ridden it'll win 0-anyspeed unless TTS, Aerospeed, Neville, or Carpenter are involved. I imagine their high torque and wheelie predeliction will play in your favor.

There is an event coming up here on island that may have 1/8 mile drags :0. Really hope my carp head is here in time so I can take the overall #1st place trophy :)

I had a built 1300 85 Suzy 1100 beat me in a eighth mile a year or so ago.
Humiliating, but the rider had better skills, a very built engine and air shifter.
I was still stock with trip K&Ns & CES.

Wow, sounds like one fast Suzy. K&N's and CES are a quick combo already. Did you do any more upgrades since?

Since the embarrassing drubbing from my good friends son on his very fast Suzuki, I have changed out the trip K&Ns for a Ramair and got a new Dyno Tune from my Guru. It wasn't actually a bad drubbing, in fact I had him through the first three gears and was about to shift to 4th when he went by me slow and steady, continuing to widen the gap until he until he shut down when I was about halfway through 5th gear.

Sounds like you beat him 0-100+ mph?!
I think that's completely fine mate, what else to expect on a rolling wardrobe on roids like the Rocket? Eventually aerodynamics will take its toll, it would be very unfair to call that a beating. If a totally built 1300cc GSXR1100 cannot get rid of you til 100mph, it's him who should buy you a beer (and search for a turbo kit) :D.

...and the 959 is supposed to be around 750hp/tonne with same stroke as the 1198 so should be pretty torquey too...
 
The title of this thread made me think of the U.S.S. Enterprise jumping to warp speed...

After putting secondaries back In I'v re enabled TuneBoy's 2 step feature, need to dial it in for those perfect Everytime launches still though.
