I rode a Goldwing the other day. It was a "Mitch" Special ie. it even has a sheepskin seat cover. Apart from the fact it's just about everything I dislike in a motorcycle (from the screen to the hard bags to the radio/cassette/CD changer to the heated air vents to the riding position etc etc) it didn't go half bad considering it only has 1500cc to push 4 1/2 tons of chrome, plastic and do dads around. Needed a good run up to get up to speed. Handled surprisingly well, although it did feel a bit like I was piloting a boat, sorry, ship. Could imagine it would be quite comfortable on a trip. Be horrible in traffic though. My only fear was that someone might recognise me.

Ray, it must have been horrible for you. You'll be able to be proud of what your ride again soon.

Too late mate it is going viral on YouTube!

So Ray .. can we assume that sometime during your 'Goldwing period' .. that your hair grew back, yeh ??? Do remember the reason you sold your last R3 was that it had caused you to "pull all your hair out" good to hear that you've regrown your flowing locks mate.

One should never underestimate the capability of a Wing - in the hands of someone who knows how to ride it.

If you don't believe me . . . . . . .

That there is the way the Dragon was meant to be ridden!
Best Dragon video I have seen! I almost felt like I was back there.
Those Gold wings (post 2001 1800cc) handle better in the twisties than the Rocket.
The two in the video MUST have had suspension work as I saw very little dive and bounce.
WHAT A RUSH!
Thanks for sharing this, my friend.
