One week away from being an R3 owner

I pulled the trigger today on an '05 that a fellow Two Wheel Texan forum member had up for sale here- 2005 Triumph Rocket III from 6900 to $5500 - TWT Forums. It will take its place next Saturday in the stable next to my current ride, an '02 Yamaha FZ-1 that I plan on keeping for when I want to have something nimble to flick through the twisties.

This will be my second Triumph. The first was an '01 "girlie" Tiger that I really enjoyed.

No doubt I'll be checking in frequently to learn about the feeding, caring and riding of the new beast.
