Oil Filter to prefill or not

Pre fill or Dry

Given that the filter goes in sideways, it can't really be prefilled completely. If it could be, I would prefill. I used to prefill the filter on my America and any vehicle with a vertically mounted filter, but with the Rocket 111, I just spin it on and idle the bike till she's good. (so long as it's only a few seconds)

Only for oil nerds
"A certified lubrication specialist.." And all this time I thought I was too- applies to a different kind of engine, I guess.

I have no life. I watched the entire video, knowing what the outcome would be. But, there you go. I fill the filter most of the way and try to screw it on before a minor amount has a chance to run out into the pan. No big deal. I heard you should do it years ago and I've just done it ever since, not fully sure if it was based on science or some mystical mechanic voodoo.
