Official RAA Texas Thread

We got home about 11:00 p.m. Wednesday. I want the thank Lupe and his wonderful family for putting us up, we had a great time there as well as at Leaky ! Would also like to thank Morris and the crew for a great time, one to be remembered ! Would also like to thank Ken (stripes) and MB (Marybeth) for their hospitality !

Now for the bad news. I got sick on the way home. Ended up in emergency Thursday morning. Some kind of viral infection. I have what look like chicken pocks all over me. They are thinking because of my recent chemo I was probably susceptible. That and riding two days days in the rain (2nd day cold rain) I was probably beat down some. I'm on anti-virals, motrin 800's for the body aches and benedryl for the itchies !

Been worried. Mel had texted MB about you being sick and she relayed the info. Good to hear it appears you are making progress. I think the look is becoming.

Glad y'all made it home safe. I hope you get to feeling better soon.
It was great getting to meet and ride with you and the missus. Looking forward to Colorado.

Rocket Scientist,
So sorry to hear of your continued illness. MAJOR CUDOS to you for making that ride.
It takes a lot of guts to deal with something that just won't let you go.

Perhaps a down under cap, more hair, ungromed of course, and and an ugly beard like RKTINMYPKT and myself would help.
Best Regards,
