I had great time, it was very different rhan all the RAAs, food was great , company was great, weather was not that great but we rode anyway!
On my qay back i earned rhe tough as hell award for riding 500 miles in the rain!!
STRIPES,
So then, is HWY 39 a different ride than the 3 sisters and did Nolton's great description cover it all or just one?
R3Tex,
After I get back in the saddle, I shall most definitely be going back to the Ozarks.
Never rode Africa either, so I may have to swing more south and check out your neck of the woods, R3Tex.
Thanks to Rocket Scientist for that funny $hit I just plagiaized.

335, 336, & 337 are what's considered the 3 sisters. 39 happens to be in the same area, and follows part of the Guadalupe River. It had some really nice scenery. Well worth riding while you're in the area.
I'm sure glad other people saw the zebras too, I was starting to think they really did have something in the cookies from the Apple Store.

I had forgotten to tell everybody about the "roller coaster". It kind-of surprised me too. Above 50mph it will make your stomach float. If anybody was trying to catch up, they were in for a surprise for sure.
Bull, the "sisters" are the three State Farm roads 335, 336 and 337.
Hwy 39 starts out with Hwy 27 from Kerrville and head to the west following the Guadeloupe river. After a few miles 27 breaks off to the west and 39 continues following the river.
The Guadalupe is partially spring fed with crystal clear water because of the river bed is mostly coleche (sp?) rock and limestone. It is well known for canoeing and inner tubing with copious amounts of beer in the hot Texas summers. Game preserves abound in this area of Texas due to the similarities in climate to Africa, hence all the exotic animals.
