Looking at the new Rocket, I see a cruiser that is all alone in the market. Fast, powerful and a great ride. What I don't see, is a motorcycle to take my wife on a weekend trip. I doubt she would want too.

I just noticed that it has a third pipe peeking out on the left side... One of the things I like about the classics and 2005's.

I don't have a passenger setup on my Roadster and someone asked me where the lady sits.....I Said. ."At home!!"

I like the look but as @sonny said, who did they build it for?? Most under 50 years old can’t afford it. So it’s 50 and up? The only reason I like it is because it’s different, good looking and I know nobody else will have one!!

Nice touch. Let me guess, she has dinner on the table @ 6pm. One question, does she wear her pearl necklace and high heels at dinner? Lol.

More power to you all. Sounds good but ain't buying it. When you leave out for work and it is 60 degree's or better knowing it is going to be a lot colder around three AM. You want a bike with some luggage capability's to haul your gear for the ride home. This bike ain't got that.

They built it for the 750 worldwide that are prepared to fork out the $40-$50 grand these will cost here. I honestly can’t understand why so many of you are getting your nickers in a twist over this factory custom. Do you really think this will be IT?

I’m guessing (but a somewhat informed guess) that the price of the production model will be no more than 10% up on the current models. And there’ll be different model options as well as luggage, backrests and screens and probably a 100 or so other accessories.

I am using the information from the 2 Triumph dealers in S.W. Michigan. Supposedly Triumph held a dealer meeting where they unvailed the Rocket. At that "open house" the question possibility of a Touring Rocket was discussed. Not in the plans.
