Off to the Enemies Camp

July 15th is July Bike night at the HD place . ;)

Too bad it doesn't start until 5, we should be nearing Missoula by then. :)

Just give me a call around Moses Lake or something like that and I will figure how far out you are.

Shall Do Amigo!
See ya Friday!

Our HD shop here in Anchorage is quite successful and welcomes all bikes...would you believe they also have a really nice campground? Free, to anyone. My Triumph dealer could do so much more to increase sales. I actually brought a friend in one day and through my encouragement had a brand new R3 touring bike-SOLD. He was ripe and ready to buy...after 4 sales guys ignored him for 45 minutes we walked out and he bought a harley.

I wish this type of behavior was not as common as it is. I had a check from the credit union one day for a substantial amount of money and was really just contemplating what to do with it. It was a warm Saturday and after doing yard work my wife (sans makeup & jewelry)and me in work clothes took a drive down to the Mercedes dealer. I really liked the big SUV (GLS) and found one there that the wife was happy with the color. We hung around the lot, walked through the showroom and while the sales people hung out at their desks or at the counter chatting we decided we would go. A couple of days later we were driving a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. And because I have been called an AH on more than one occasion I figured it wouldn't hurt to do it one more time. I went to the MB place and talked with the sales manager. The gist of the story was don't judge a book by its cover or some such stuff. ;)
