Its not Biketoberfest is during the wrong time !!!!
Having been to Biketoberfest and the Smoky's I would say the scenery is a bit different. The smoky"s mountains are covered with color leaves while the Biketoberfest Mountains are sparsely dressed at all.

I would agree with that, nothing like riding in the mountains. I have not been there but I do Johnstown Pa. Every year.

I think you should drop the Biketober stuff and head for the mountains and meet some of these great people that attend the RAA events you will not be disappointed.
