So glad you and yours are OK mate , at the end of the day it's all just things to be replaced with better things ! What matters is that your still here to tell us about it . :(

Kick in the gut here too. Can separate the Captain from the Rocket, but can't take the Rocket out of the Captain. We hope soon see light at the end of the tunnel, and we'd love to have you stay, whatever machines are in your future.

I was sad that you are going through this, but as so many have said, it is great that all you lost was "stuff." Stuff's replaceable. It may be aggravating, but just think now about how you have already figured out what you really want, and so you won't have much trial and error getting back to where you were, and beyond.

Patrick,
I just now came across this thread.
Your new garage, new hot motor and all other equipment - I am in shock!
There are NO words sufficient for me to express my sadness on your behalf for this horrible event!
ANYTHING I can do to help, please let me know - only a few hours away.
Steve

Very sorry indeed to hear and see the pics. Really crap. I hope and trust your insurance companies are better then the ones I'm used to here. Are you injured at all?

thank Steve
not much you can do really but thanks for the offer
the house which was about 6 feet away was not damaged just a cracked window and some plastic moulding so after all that commotion wife and I had dinner in town coming back around the bend in the road we see firetrucks lights blazing in the night right in front of the property !! turned out the car (mercedes B250 ) which was burned to a crisp at 8 am well somehow the transmission exploded at 8.30 pm
someone recalled the fire department and as we come back from the restaurant seeing those lights for a second I thought the house was burning... but it was the car in the garage . again how do we spell relief!! won't sleep too well tonight stress and all. but tomorrrow is another day
my trip is in jeopardy this summer most likely.
