Now that the weather is slowing down if not stopping the riding many of you will be wanting to catch up on the maintenance. You might be well advised to start a folder on your computer to keep track of what and when you did something , plus what you used.I guess after 22 years in the Navy I log in everything
I have four bikes to keep up with so it makes it a lot easier to figure out when I need to change oil , fork oil ect .
It may sound like a pain but has a lot of advantages .How many miles did I get on that tire?? Another plus is a big advantage when your trying to sell your bike . Gives you a big advantage when you can show the potential buyer that you really did take care of your bike . Here is a sample of what I do .

I do the same thing. I can't tell you how many times I refer to information there to see when & what was done. All my items are logged there, from the chain saws, lawn tractor, camper, bikes, cars, tiller, etc.

Too many things to keep track of for such a "Pee Brain". Good thought to share with everyone Micksan.

See ya.

I help a lot of local riders with their bikes. You would be surprised how many people do not know when their oil is due to be changed , or on the older BMWs when to pull the tranny to grease the spline gear. Ect
