I appreciate all of the warm welcomes and positive comments so far guys, thanks a lot!

Toddy, I'll have a spare as soon as I get mine swapped out. I've been in touch with a guy selling his Night Rod headlight and shroud, so I'll see how that progresses, realistically I think 3-4 weeks untill I have everything swapped out and mounted. If you like I will fire you a PM when everything is done and my headlights are available.

Perhaps you guys can help me out with some feedback here. The shroud I posted earlier made by Dino Romano is custom and I don't have the knowledge or skill to make my own.

As a result the two options I am seriously considering are the Headlight/Shrouds from the Suzuki Boulevard M50 or the Harley Davidson Night Rod.






I like the sleek look of the Vrod headlight, but the R3 is a massive bike and the Night Rod light might look small and out of place? This is where I was looking around and came up with the Boulevard headlight/shroud as a possible alternative.

Thoughts, opinions?

Thanks a lot for the pictures, I really like the blacked out look, I've already ordered the Rad covers, and teardrop mirrors, I'll just have scuff them and spray them matte black to match the bike.

The exhaust looks great PC'ed black also, I will be doing that for sure. Excuse my ignorance since this is my first Bike, is it possible to get dual exhaust coming from one side?

Maybe have a look at headlight/flyscreen combo from a Thunderbird Sports. Mate reckons a brighter light than a Rocket and flyscreen is taller than V-Rod type. Like CanberraR3 said need to consider guages. I'd end up running up the arse of a car if speedo mounted on radiator shroud
