Bigger engine? Why?
Traction control, ride by wire throttle and riding modes be my guess. Anyone who has ridden a Tiger 800 in Sport mode would be keen on the idea for the Rocket.
Styling wouldn't be anything like those mock ups. That Sport Touring isn't just sh1t, it would put the Rocket into the stupid class along with Victory Vision and FB6. Anyway, I'd like to see a more contemporary street fighter to complete the move away from being a cruiser rather than some bolt ons; perhaps something along Diavel lines or even VMax.
But 2300cc will be the engine size.

Victory is comming out with a Bigger Engine then the Rocket, should be out way later this year....

Victory and Harley do not have very many options on the table. To keep up with the EPA standards the bikes continually run hot and hotter. So water cooling the heads and attempting to hide the fact that the bikes are water cooled is the last card.

Are you referring to the "Ignition" and "Combustion" projects?

Ignition Concept by Urs Erbacher | Victory Performance

Attached full press release based off their site.

No real numbers or specs other than it looks like 1200cc liquid cooled. In the press release it says: "We will continue to take this engine platform and deliver on
the promise of American muscle in every current and future
product we sell.

I doubt they will have an engine larger than R3. I think triumph will hold the production cc title for a very long time. I think the market has spoken. If it was a battle of sales, they would have been dethroned by now and as we all know the R3 doesn't get treated like a flag ship bike like they claim it is.

The market is geared towards smaller, more affordable bikes, in regards to cruisers. Look at all the new bikes in the last two years to come out between 750cc-1200cc range. They are targeting young riders who can afford an entry level bike for their brand and hope they stay loyal. The Diavel, Vmax, R3, and VROD are the 4 big muscle cruisers and they all share a common denominator: they all don't sell well. They are for enthusiasts and tuners and gearheads who want the biggest punch on a badass bike.

While I'm not certain how well Victory motorcycles sell, I feel like if they tried to dethrone the R3, hardly anyone would buy it and it would drift into obscruity after 3-5 years. But who knows, maybe I'm completely wrong ha-ha!

WELL they are not expected to sell like hot cakes but theyl sell and make money not all bikes are super sellers its strange that some are bothered that the ROCKET isnt the choice of every rider HELL you must be kidding it is a big heavy powerful scary beast that some are unable to ride

I dont like HARLEYS watercooling setup why not use a radiator up front like Triumph did it looks great and a lot better than the HD design
