I prefer to listen to tunes at home or in my car. Never on the bike, especially since it could lead to me not hearing something that could have prevented me from interacting with a cage, invariably to me and my ride's detriment. Each to their own, I know.
I hear ya!! Haha pun intended. I def don’t like the obnoxious Harley that drives by the cafe and literally hurts your ears. I just think a lot of the motorcycle experience is eyes and ears. When I bought the beast I immediately went searching for exhaust. I wonder if something else from another bike could be retrofit? I was looking at what Akrapovic did on the Thruxton and think those two stacked on the right side with a bracket could look very sharp with a stock like stagger/offset. Would love to see a mock up if anyone is better at photoshop. I will try later….

Why ok in the car but not bike?
Because the car has headrests, safety belts, eight airbags, roll-reinforced occupant cage, reinforced door panels, crumple zones front and rear, reinforced tranny valley to slide the engine under the car instead of through it and four wheels - just in case I make a 4rse of myself and zone out on what I am listening to instead of what I am doing - driving. Or when I do not hear that semi with the bad tire right next to me. I have exactly none of that on the bike. Neither am I wearing earphones, blasting away inside a helmet when I am in the car.

ear buds better sound, appearance.That would look just great. A set of 6 inch speakers set up on the bars of a new 2.5 l Rocket.
I’ve tried ear buds but did not like them. I thought they might cause more hearing damage and did not allow me to hear the environment as well as I wanted to. For me there must be a balance of the factors for music enjoyment and safety.
