Short?!?! What ever do you mean by that??? Ha ha . Yeh, that's me. And no I still haven't learned how to slow my bike down.

Unfortunately, at the cost of diesel these days might be cheaper and less hassle to rent the room, now.

Still don't know if we can go. Bear is working on trying to get his back operated on again. kind of going slow right now. Has another doctor appt in three weeks. Don't know yet what is going to involved or the down time.

No I still luv you guys. The same day I posted on the other site I checked this one and there wasn't any messages or anything new posted. Freaky?

And since then things have been crazy for me. I get to work some of the other branch offices sometimes (and get paid mileage). Also, trying to break my shop-o-holic ways and have been reading "trash" books rather than roam the internet. So haven't checked these sites in awhile. Sorry.
 
hotel reservations

hey guys,

i've gone ahead and reserved a room at the best western in brenham, so roni and i, are all set. i'm looking forward to the time off. roni is too. gonna order the short sissy bar/luggage combo today as per paul and heathers' suggestion. it will be installed as soon as it gets here.i also need to install flips liners and brake line clamps,of course.can't show up without those fitted, they're a prerequisite. dave, you did good on the rooms! they're on the first floor.that's a nice detail to include,good job. i was wondering about a luggage bag for the rear rack,any comments/suggestions? sam(travel guy) sent some cool stuff that i'm going to fit up after the rally. these are a stebel(make 'em deaf)horn and rivco ignition relocate set up. very nice bits.ok,i'll get back here after i order the sissy bar/luggage thing. thanks......

I have the river road brand trunk (it's in my pics). You can carry a fair amount of crap and it's under $130.

this is gonna take some thought. river road has some neat options. i'm kinda partial to leather,but the new synthetic leather would be a better choice for water resistance. guess i'll need to get with roni and see what she likes cause her stuff is gonna go in it. ok, i'll talk at ya later.adios for now.....
