Debbie loves the Butty Buddy. One of the best accessories I've bought for her besides the big forward mounted Kuyakin passenger Floor boards. She likes the width and the fact that it raises her up to see over my head.

Believe it or not, she's lost around 50lbs since then (while I gained 10).

I'm curious, does your R3 have its original battery or can you find out from the prior owner when he got a new one? Also, do you have a Battery Tender?

Hellfire's your man as far as the Odyssey upgrade goes, but I'm fairly sure that he'd advise you to get the Odyssey charger, too. It is specific to that battery - a Battery tender will not fully charge the Odyssey battery.

In any event, do enjoy the ride, Captain and let us know when we can organize a group ride to Tahiti!

Hellfire do you have a line on this Odyssey battery and does it fit the R3T? How about a picture of Debbie, not that you folks don't have a beautiful daughter. Any info on the battery or if and where it was posted.

Very funny on the daughter thing I'll have to tell Debbie, she'll get a kick out it.

The Odyssey battery box mod is so that the slightly larger base on it keeps it from sitting down all the way and flush with the bottom. I preferred going this route so It didn't sit on an edge that could possibly rub a hole in the bottom. Some others have cut the cooling fins off the bottom of the battery case to make it fit flush on the bottom. If you are comfortable cutting on the case, I like this idea and it would be my second choice. Whichever way you choose to do it, be sure to buy an Odyssey charger to go with the battery, Without the charger you cannot get the full benefits of the battery.

Thanks and when I get the bike I'll check into it. Most likely it will be ignored untill fall when it gets cooler. Don't worry, it ain't that warm here but I don't pick up the bike until 3/31/11. Hope to make Maggie Valley. Allright, back to the learning channel.

I can't wait. I'd like to go on down and pick it up but with the left arm surgery on Thursday I'll be down for 4 weeks anyway so that kinda backs up my not having two toy payment reason. Also not wanting to pick lead out of my butt from Kerry, I think I'd better wait 31 more days. I also will be glad to meet with a bunch of knowledgeable people on this awesome bicycle. See all the bikes you guys talk about. I might just leave the stickers on her and enter the Stock Class in the show. I'll make sure to put a couple of cleaning rags in D's trailer so Kerry can do that thing she said she would. HELP KEEP IT CLEAN!!!
