Thanks for the response. So the cat is not under the bike on a 2011? That big bulky collector seems a little useless if it isn't full of some type of power robbing catalyst. Why bother with such a heavy and bulky looking box? I have not taken the mufflers off yet but if they are indeed part of the catalytic system they must be very heavy. Has anyone every tried to dissect a factory Rocket muffler? Well I hope to have this thing pulling some good reaction times soon. I will say that this bike has unreal amounts of torque and power in its stock setup. I cant wait to get it figured out.
I have a 12, but I thought all Roadsters were the same. The crossover isn't very big, in fact I was surprised how small the crossover pipe actually is. I drilled my baffles, but never could get the cat out. And yes the stock exhaust is stupid heavy.

WELCOME from sunny and HOT WA!
That crossover box is empty, however, due to its design somewhat restrictive.
If you go with TORs and 2780 trip K&Ns with a dyno (best) or canned tune, you shall be impressed with the improvement!

Hello Rick nd welcome from VA. beside the cat delete when using the TORs, they are a 1/2 bigger in inner diameter. I say just set your stock exhaust aside for now and slip on some TORS.
