Hello @TheRedBaron and welcome from Virginia.
I'm not sure why a Storm would be more expensive to own than an R3X though. What was your biggest cost items?

Idont have handling problems with my 2012 Roadster or my 09 Classic

Hi Boog,
That was my bad grammar, sorry. I meant that I couldn't afford to keep both. I really didn't want to part with the Storm. I'm already aware that the X is costing more to run.
