oh wanted to mention I ordered the tire from south west moto the ywere the cheapest $249.95 and this month avon has a $25.00 rebate too, $224.95 not to bad! shipping weight listed is 12lbs from fed ex, that does not sound right!

I'd sure like to see those dyno sheets myself.
I'm sure Art is right, the car tire may loose a little HP,
But after 135 does it matter all that much unless you're on a track?
To me, and I ride mine pretty aggressivly, it doesn't.
The safety and mileage more than compensates for a small lose of HP.

unfortunately only dyno close by, is at the harley shop! and for some reason they only dyno harleys!

all true Skip! but I could feel the resistance in 4th and 5th gear! it did not accelerate as strong! Im keeping the Riken Tire, may try it again after some more mods! appears Sams Predator Exhaust works really well! thats my next purchase! start saving!!!

I'm going to try to help you out here with my last wasted thoughts focused in your direction, consider it a public service just for you.
Nobody cares that you hate car tires on bikes, being argumentative and negative toward them does no one any service. Besides the fact that you don't own the bike you insist on making comments about, NOBODY CARES! Just once I'd like to read a thread someone took the time to write concerning their EXPERIENCE, views or questions about the Darkside, without seeing your name. Your'e like going into an adult vid store and finding religious tracts stuck in everything. Drop it dude ! Can I get an A-MEN ! **** !

the rikkon was my second dark side endeavor I am now using a 205/60/16 bridgestone potenza pole position, excellant traction good durability and it isn't as heavy in the parking lot if I remember right

THE NARROW 205 tire is going to turn better and feel lighter as it is not as flat and closer to a MT tire profile
