NEW RIDING BOOTS

Motorcyclegear.com has a great selection of different brands and excellent write-up on features, quality and 'fit'
You would probably want to look in the Sport -Street - Touring or the Waterproof Sport - Street - Touring sections
I like the look of those AlpineStars Ridge Air (or 'Ridge Waterproof' version but I don't typically ride in rain :D)
The Sidi Canyon GoreTex look amazing & get great review - $350 tho

Thanks Ken, but those heavy soles are what I have now and my hip requires an inside zip. :inlove

I can wear them All day long and into the night without any discomfort, the great thing about them is they are really well made, can be resoled and are specially made for wide footed buggers like me

Wide feet and high instep is my curse as well.
A reason I"m interested in Daytona.

Those look good.
Alpinstars?
Yes , really light weight and comfy as slippers straight out of the box . The cut outs at the rear make downshifting precise and the plastic sliders are replaceable . They zip up from the sides with a weather flap covering the zip . I keep em well dubbined and have not experienced wet feet yet . They also have plastic insert where the gear lever contacts your foot so no wear and soles are real soft .
Warm in winter and cool and light in summer somehow ? What's more , they are not plastered in garish colours and look real good in the pub !

I've been enjoying these.....

This is what I'm wearing these days. Perfect for the Rocker look on the older bikes and it is embossed "Norton" by the heel.

Nice looking boot. Chippewa makes a similar boot the one i have easy on easy off. I've had them for six plus years and they've held up well. The Velcro eliminates the buckling for those of us that have trouble bending over..;). I wonder what the price difference is between the two. Mine weren't cheap.....
