New Owner, my thoughts and a few questions and observations

Looks like I am going to have to look into getting a tune.So much to learn on a new unfamiliar bike. Want to wake er up a bit :)

Welcome from one of the Brits ! Hang around here often for great advice and great banter .
I guarantee in six months of participating with this great band of brothers , you will know more about your Rocket than most main dealer spanner spinners !

I see guys put $6-10,000 into their street glides to try and get numbers the R3t can do with just a tune and you know what? the R3 won't grenade when you use the power, just keep the shifts clean and enjoy the ride:)

some of the buzzing vibration noise your hearing may be the windscreen the mounts are solid and seem to vibrate with the engine, I dulled it down some by putting o rings on the fork side of the mounts. Most the time I just don't run the screen it so I don't have to listen to it.

My new 2015 R3T just passed 2300 miles yesterday, it is my 2nd R3. It does keep improving as has been mentioned, I suggest you look thru the postings in this forum and what ever you have for a question, the answer is in there. Replace the air system, the exhaust and give it a tune, it absolutely comes alive!
Enjoy!
