Tekardi first you should get used to the power you have and while your doing that you can plan on what you want to achieve. By far Tune Boy is the best way to go as they are at the fore front of being able to mod the ecu By this I mean tune ecu is free and therefore does not do much other then the typical ecu changes. Wayne at Tune boy does software modifications in which you can reach higher power levels. for instance I have not seen any expanded maps by Tune ECU just standard ones so going above 7000 rpms will be hard unless you get someond to copy the tune boy maps fpr you. This is where we are getting into a screwing match as it is not quite fair to copy Waynes work and him notget any money for it. I think this slows Wayne down some by affecting his attitude towards guys who run Tune ECU. There is one company that seems to get Tuneboy to do all kinds of modifications to the tune software but they are no longer alowed to post on this site. you can run into them on the .com site. soon they will have there super Touring model done which will be the first R3T stage 1 Carpenter Rocket. Complete with the expanded 9k map. It should be a force to recon with out there in bagger land. Anyway I am not cutting Tune ECU down just realise until they start changing the software there set up will be limited. I have there software but I continue to support Wayne at Tune Boy as he is working hard towards live tuning link with his software. As fo the PCIII a lot of tuners know this software and therefore you can get it tuned at many places just be aware that all it can do is fueling changes not timing, rev limits, and speed limiter so without tuneboy you will be stuck at 125mph unless you get Triumph to load a standard R3 tune into your bike. With tune ECU you are still limited in things you can do. like expanded maps, raising rev limiter above 6800 and a lot of other goodies. Tune Boy is the non generic tuner's device.
