New Member, aspiring Rocket owner

Welcome from the East Coast. My first Rocket (05 standard) has 128000K on it and is still going strong. My second Rocket 14 T has 22000K and is barely broken in. You will not regret your choice.

Wow, that often ? Seems like every third year here.

I don't know what trouble I'd have if I hadn't found the Rocket.

Hey folks, came across your forum while researching the R3 & it's been a GREAT source of info, so thanks!!

I've been driving an old Virago 920 for 3 seasons that I basically got for a song, just to see if I'd put enough time & miles on it to justify spending money on a nice bike down the road. Did a cross Canada trip this summer (3000 km's, the old Virago did just fine) that sealed the deal, so now I'm officially hooked, & after a lot of investigating my options I have fallen for the R3's combo of cruiser style & big power! I'm planning to start seriously shopping in the spring, and until then just want to learn as much as I can! Any info & advice for a first time triumph owner is greatly appreciated!! Cheers
I see the Maple Leaf but no location. I am on my second Rocket, a 2104 R3T. Just sold my '05. Welcome from from Edmonton

Welcome. A 920 Virago, don't see many of those anymore but they were a trendsetter back in the day. Aspiring to be a Rocket owner, you could do a lot worse, like be looking at Indians or something equally as gaudy. ;)

Welcome.
