New D&D slip installed today

Ahh, ok, so you were able to get the stock shields back on, that's good to know if I ever need to do a tape job myself. VA isn't quite as hot as Vegas but we get those 100+ days with crazy high humidity making it feel like a pressure cooker.

If the dealer installed the D&D's he should have loaded the Triumph performance exhaust (TOR) tune.

MY AVATAR.jpg
I rode the Rocket again last night for a few hours. The bike sounds and runs very good. It now has 320 miles on it, it will have 500 by two more nights and then its scheduled for its 500 mile service Saturday morning. I ride it mostly in town with a lot of shifting and about 25% freeway each night. Last night it had some riding at 80 mph while on the freeway, no vibrations were present at any speed so far. I am happy with this bike so far. I have a few non performance changes coming up. I ordered a windshield from CLEARSHIELD that is 1 inch taller and with a recurve at the top as this supposedly raises the wind hitting me about 2 or 3 inches. I also ordered it with the a GOLDWING vent in it. I have received the McCruise unit from Australia so that will be installed in the near future. I also ordered the gel seat since they gave me a 500 dollar gift certificate when I bought the bike. As of right now I'm just trying to make this a great cruiser. My V8 bikes are super fast, I will be happy with this one being a little less performance but with better handling and a nice cruiser. I bought a NEW Triumph in 1960, and 2006 and now 2015. Even though I've had many Harleys most of my life I still love the Triumphs. I think they are the best bike made for the money and one of the best bikes made regardless of price.
