New Brake Recall!

Your frustration and loss of love for your bike is very understandable.
It strikes a chord with me as I look back to 1994 when I went from having many years of Jap bikes to going Italian via Moto Guzzi (1100 Sport) for very emotive reasons at that time, then gradually feeling let down by the niggling and pretty continual technical issues.
As it turned out, I never ended up falling out of love with Moto Guzzi. I still love them, warts and all. I think I was 'saved' by having the knowledge and support from other Guzzi enthusiasts through the UK owners club. I got over the hump (or trough??) of dissolutionment and over time I discovered that they were actually very robust and reliable machines once the niggles were driven out of them by savvy and knowhow.

I trust that the 2.5 Rocket 3 is a similar kind of situation.....Too early days for me to say that with any long term experience, but then again, it could be that i'm still in a honeymoon period with my bike and the rose tinted spectacles are still on.
I do have ongoing problems with mine, but unlike your brake problem, my niggles and frustrations haven't prevented me from riding mine safely and enthusiastically.

I hope your bike gets fixed at your next dealer fix.

Thank you. I will keep the 2020 GT for a while longer and I think my outlook would be better if they just fix it this time. I know it's partially my fault as when the rear brake goes it just slowly goes for a few months but I continue to ride it. I still ride it now but just not on the back roads or any hooning due to the rear brake gone again. I have to say once again my 2 favorite bikes were my 1981 Yamaha 1100 Special and my 2014 Rocket. I should have never sold the 2014 and I'm still kicking myself for doing it but I do like the way the GT handles on the backroads, Cheers.

Post recall for the rear brake and mine is working like a champ. Over a year later and it still is holding strong and working like it should. Mine is fixed with the recall.
I am guessing it is something to do with the tech's procedure he is following or he received defective parts.

Taking the R3 to my dealer Thursday for the rear master cylinder and main battery fuse recall. Only took the dealer 4 days to get the parts.
When they move to their new massive building next moth I'll be getting the 10K service.
