New addition to the garage

Congrats on the new bike, it is very nice looking.

Hey you .. stop quoting the stuff I say :D.. hit the POST REPLY to put up a post. Can't f#ckin believe I'm actually giving someone advice on computers ..we've come a loooong way ..hahahaha

Good luck with the new HD. Just that your woman can pick it up off the kickstand says something about her.

Heritage Softail is the best riding Hog IMO.
Rode one 800 miles home after a breakdown on my V2K a few years ago.
Gutless, no lean angle, but comfy and smooth. The 103 was a large improvement in power as well.
A good motor for a female.

Your wife and that bike are a winning combo mate
A friend bought a new Road Glide ultra. He saw the wife's Thunderbird and became "distressed" The Thunderbird is 104. His Harley is a 103. The Thunderbird keeps up respectably with the R3

Very nice! My wife was looking at the softail slim, but I think we're going with the Indian scout instead? ;) she can't sit on one until we're back in the states though, so not sure yet.

One of my good friends has a very good-looking wife who always rode pillion with him till their daughter came along 10 years ago. After the baby, I convinced her she needed her own bike and about two years afterwards she took the safety course and they bought her an 883L (she is only 5'1"). The year Harley brought out the Slim, she upgraded and loved it so much more than the 883L which was actually slightly taller than the Slim.
I think the Scout is a very good looking bike but wonder is the Slim would be more comfy for your wife... The Scout is far less expensive though and adds a new kind of cool to the stable; good luck brother.
