TC asked me this morning just before I left Gloucester if I was going to put my rain pants on. I didn't. I got maybe 2 km down the road and had to do it anyway. Heavy rain for the first 80 or so km and then it was fine for the rest of the trip. Heaps of traffic and a few idiots but no dramas. Great weekend!

Nabiac.

Lucky you my stuff is still drying out plus I'm up to number 3 mobile phone for the year as that rain yesterday killed number 2' are well tax deductions. I had it where I thought the rain could not get .just ordered a water proof phone

Home , unpacked and showered. Had a good ride back to Brissy , nowhere near the traffic i'd expected .. coppers everywhere though. Pricks seemed to have some poor bugger bailed-up when we crossed paths ....they didn't bother us. Catherine and i really enjoyed the weekend.

That's all of us all back home safe , gotta agree with you the cops sure were doing there job there presence was out there ,you'd think with a double demerit weekend people would be a bit more aware ,the bit that bothered me was the huge variation on posted speed limits over a very short section of road assisted by speed cameras . I suppose I'll find out in the next week or so if I've slipped up any where.

Jeez I bet that's uncomfortable. ;)
I've found the top of the saddle bag just under the lid a good place for the phone. Easy to get at and stays dry.

Funny bugger

Ha ha funny bugger no mate inside jacket pocket that I was wearing under my leather jacket quite surprised really as I was totally soaked but still remained warm

And while I think of it, we won't be getting the deposit back for Kings Camp. Peter K reminded me at Nabiac and gave me $20 and TC's well and truly covered. Any other contributions (not more than $20 please) will be gratefully accepted via PayPal - richards2601@grapevine.com.au or I can PM bank a/c details.

It's a shame more of you weren't able to come and make the camp a goer; it really looked to be a top place and something to keep in mind for the future. I reckon I'll be keen to get back that way anyway. It's roughly half way between here and Brissy and a good days ride. And for Malcy and Ponters, it's sort of round about the Muswellbrook area.

Rained all the way from nabiac to Coomera all 580 km,s I hope you have better weather tomorrow when you guys leave . over all it was 2 hours less time getting home than going down ,no traffic congestion at all .have a safe ride .

Did just under 700 klms getting home today .. my bike just a few klms short of clicking over the 100,000 klms ;)

Will fix you up shortly Richard it was just shame I could not afford to let 4 days of weekend penalty plus public holidays get away while we are on a single income and then the renovations to deck ontop of it just was the last straw
