Grampi, I'm an old school gloss black and chrome guy and when I bought my Roadster I started watching eBay for the same chrome bits you mentioned to start swapping them out and make it more individual. They are few and far between in the UK believe it or not and those for sale are silly money. Over a period of time I decided that the new gloss look with the red stripes and very little chrome looked more modern and decided to leave alone.

Give it a while and seehow you feel but again each to their own

If I can't find anyone who just wants to do an even-up swap, I will just leave the blacked out parts on...I'm not paying an arm and a leg to outright buy the parts...that would cost a small fortune! It shouldn't be too hard to find someone who wants to swap...the blacked out look is the "in" thing right now...

Do you have a pic of your bike so I can see which parts are chrome? Yes, international shipping may be expensive, I've never done it before...

I have:
Head light buckets and ring clamps
Front fork protectors
Rear fender covers (ether for sissy bar or without)
Frame covers ( rear foot peg- forward)
Radiator surround
Bear claw
Micky mouse ears mirrors

I be here mate. I'll be Rocketless for a few months. However, no intentions of leaving the best mc forum, or the best mc brand for that matter. Another Rocket is in order next year after other matters are complete. I'm leaning towards the Touring model this time 'round.

That sounds like just about everything I want to swap (except the bear claw, mine is chrome)...it just sounds like I need to check into the shipping costs...I'm almost afraid to ask! Yikes!
