Wanted to show you how much the R3 can haul. This is a gentleman that I helped out on the road a couple of years back. As you can see he's hauling a full size camper , a homemade sidecar, his wife and all the things you need for a great road trip. He was from Nova Scotia & was finishing of a road trip through the US & swinging round Montreal on his way home.


 
Have you looked at bar end mirrors? By the pix it is hard to tell if suggestion would help. I've never used them, maybe some else can comment

I'm wondering if it's tracking straight, seems to me either both or neither mirrors should give visibility.
 
A backup camera with a monitor would give you good visibility.
I don't know why @Kevin frazier is laughing, I was serious. People have been using them since the 80s on cars. Maybe if the big trucks would use them, maybe they'd quit trying to run us off the road when we pass them, or their aim would improve and they'd squash us all.
