Looked on Hermy's parts break down, washer item 27 # T3550236 not required with lifter piece # T1170159 or T1172023 due to 4.1mm shoulder width

27
Washer, 14 x 20 x 1.6

Weirdly at Hermy's and the 2nd version from Aussie dealer Harbour City their images have #26 with a slightly different group of plates

It is nice to see all of u guys working your brains trying to help us out. We appreciate the help and thank u all.
My plan A on this is to play with it and try to come up with an end play clearance. If that works we will know what can be added. To many washers and it will lock to the turning clutch pack/drum.

my theory/guess is the the lifter is a tight fit in the roller bearing if anybody knows? if it fits tight then there is no need for washers.
if not then i will find out when parts arrive.

I too use the washer and the wave washer, maybe its like the detent springs some toss, dunno but i use like parts fiche says
The wavey washer has been in the clutch on all models. The large flat washer which is actually a thrust washer for the torrington needle bearing. If you leave that out the needle's on the thrust bearing would eat the aluminum seating face on the pressure plate. The book shows the flat torrington (oringinal design) and never was updated as the clutch design got updated.
