It's been awhile since i've seen any Rocket III's in these parts , but i have to say i like those rims i had no idea they made them.. There's a Rocket Captain on another site named Lee he is all about the auxilary fuel cell, if anyone could stear you in the right direction it's him...
Too bad the coating on the rear especially is crud. A few years on the road and the aluminium is corroding all over the place. Going to get me some Flitz polishing balls for the drill and some of their metal polish and wax. The upside is that polished aluminium does look great.
Thanks Jeff, but due to snow, (You may know about that living where you do) and work, I have missed almost 3 months of riding this year so far. Poor bike was thinking I deserted it one four week period without getting started. We made up though...
Watcher, did you buy yours from Austrailia? The conversion for the R3T shows it just under $1k USD. You may have turned me on to a great idea here. Thanks Brother!
I have but haven't ever used one before on a bike. I think a throttle lock is about all one can add to a Rocket though unless I need more education on the matter.

Personally, I like the BrakeAway throttle lock. The Mc Cruise seems to work well for everyone that has it, but the cost is way out of my reach. The BrakeAway does all I need it to do and releases when you pull the front brake. Except for having to turn down the stock throttle grip slightly and making a small bracket to raise the front brake release cam slightly, it was a piece of cake to install. But then again, I'm quite handy at fabricating stuff. Pictures tell the story, but note....I have some foam grip puppy's I put on over my stock grips after the install.
