Fuel generally dislikes 4-year storage periods. You should probably flush out the entire tank, and clean out the rest of the system also.

Some parts are quality, other parts are bargain basement. By some strange coincidence, all the bargain basement parts can be bought in a much classier form from Triumph. Huh, strange how that happened. :p But that's par for the course in capitalism I guess. :)

I pull the fuel pump and see how it looks, should be clean and not a brown colour

Hah, well, I'll try not to pick fights but that doesn't change my views on our world-wide financial system. And I won't really censor myself in that respect, but I'll try to avoid picking fights. If people get worked up then that's on the people. :thumbsup:

Hello Bellyman and welcome from Virginia. I just loved those mountain roads up around Jamul when I was stationed at Coronado. But didn't much like rush hour traffic (between 0600 and 2200 each day).

This is a very good area for two lane carving when the herd is at work.
