Molly 60 to be discontinued

Yeah, it's sad, we all thought Obama was going to be a progressive, then he turned into a slippery right-wing warhawk who has been death on civil liberties who has prosecuted more whistleblowers than all other administrations combined, often using insanely overly harsh espionage laws. It's sad, there's no left left in American politics, just the right-wing democrats and the lunatic right-wing fringe Republicans...

no worries Tony but first I have to get back the money from this other mob, currently mid evening will give them a hurry up early to morrow if money does not reappear in my account,

just sayin Hanso ,I use Dana Spicer premium synthetic grease P/N SPL1051 on all my uni joints and slip joints on the centre bearing slides ,it's made for use in Spicer 44,000Lb truck bogie drive units so far:cautious: it has worked without drying out on the big C109 Suzuki splines and on the rocket as well , my reasoning is if it works on the big truck drivelines the teeny weeny splines on the bikes should be OK, the tolerances on the Spicer units are just as fine as the bike splines, readily available in OZ I am sure someone will not agree but it works for me:rolleyes::rolleyes: you can buy it at most Truck Parts supplies outlets (no Ebay orders)

@cr0ft Obama is slippery, but certainly not right leaning. Again, what you know of him from European coverage is far different than what is actually the case. Can I suggest you take a few years to live in America before commenting as though you know our society? I've learned a lot here in Europe and there are some things which I believe to be better, and some worse. However, I don't criticize their politics, only note the differences. How many Americans (left, central, right, democrat, republican, libertarian, etc) do you actually know?
It would be no different than me calling all Finn's socialist lunatics just because I know 2 people and have read articles about your society's social programs.

Oh, I follow far more news sources than european ones. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, as the saying goes - Obama is basically indistinguishable from Bush when it really matters. Drone wars? Check. Killing in all-the-stans? Check. Super-capitalistic health plan instead of single payer? Check. Prosecuting whistleblowers like mad after first talking about having maximum "transparency" in government? Check, and so on. I'd say he's a center-right conservative. The scale in America starts pretty far right and goes from there, as I said, there's very little left left, compared to Europe in general and Scandinavia in particular.

But there I go again, allowing myself to be bated into a political discussion...

I do know a number of Americans and consider them friends, and I've spent some time in America as well. I like most of the people, but abhor many of the callous attitudes that prevail, the "every man for himself" stuff grates on me.

I consider Obama and Hillary both neocons, I think they both look out pretty much for themselves. The right and the left have vastly different campaign promises, but once they get in they do pretty much what they please, both sides take and spend as much as they possibly can, they just want to spend it on different things.

I have friends that are to the right of John Birch, and left of Karl Marx, from militant atheists to evangelical Christians, I generally don't let religion and politics interfere with friendship, it you only surround yourself with people that think like you, you'll never learn anything new. I judge people by whether they are honest and straight forward, how they treat others, are they someone you can rely on in a pinch.

Thanks Ken

I don't mind a political discussion at all @croft I didn't bait you into anything. I merely pointed out that once again you label Americans based on your very limited knowledge. I agree with you that there are some similar policies between the Bush and Obama administrations. However, unlike you, I'm aware that bush was a long way from being on the far right!
The only whistleblowers the Obama administration has gone after have been the ones which could have done him personal harm. That's not left or right...that's pure centered selfish and has little to do with politics. His administration never has and never will be transparent.
That health care plan was doomed from the start and unless you've forgotten we ARE a capitalist society. It's worked pretty well for us for 240 years. It has its faults but so does every other type.
And let's see, being in the Stans all along, European nations check; engaging in international espionage European nations, check. Political members being prosecuted and removed for a multitude of criminal activities, European nations check.
My point is not that one is better than the other. My point is you speak as if you've lived the American life and have knowledge about it, but it seems to me your knowledge is really not very substantial? I wouldn't dare tell you that Scandinavian nations are "doing it all wrong". Honestly, it's not my business or my place. I'll let you (and your nation) decide what type of government is best for you. You can make observations without being insulting and self-righteous.
I'd just appreciate it if you could refrain from using names like lunatics and phrases like every man for himself. Pretty sure every world disaster the U.S. has provided the preponderance of help. Much to many of our dismay it has a virtually open border. Nearly 50% of the population is currently being supported by the government (ie us selfish taxpayer Americans). Pretty sure Norway was the first country to actually close borders to new Muslim immigrants last year. Perhaps they know the oil can only provide a social lifestyle for a limited number of people. Perhaps there were other reasons?
