Nobody seems quite sure what happened there. He was in a gap in the middle of a group ride and went missing. They back- tracked and found him off the road crashed.

Similar thing to PeteTriumph. He was a little guy and practically had to climb onto his Rocket, but could really sling it around in the twisties. He was trying to keep up with some sporties in the hills in north-coastal NSW and over-cooked it into a tree.

And Bones, as we said earlier.

Seems that if you stack it, it's not a good idea to hit anything in the process.

If by Anthony, you mean Ponters..... he was a "colourful" bloke and invoked the ire of his missus to the extent that he sold his (beautiful) bike - to Mittzy I think - and his life changed in a big way.. he left the forum - and bikes - behind.

I joined June 2017. The same time I bought my 2010 Touring. Learned how to install a tachometer, risers, and trouble shoot a starting problem (bad wire hidden deep) and other things like programming the ECU and installing a RamAir. This forum saved me a ton of frustration and money!! I have yet had to take it for repairs and maintenance anywhere but here.
Some of the most helpful were DEcosse, Bedifferent, Joesmoe, Idaho Red, Kipper and I'm sure I'm missing some, not counting those already mentioned.

Yup, things have changed, we get older and move on sometimes. Lately about all I do is check the funnies and "sign nut" threads. At least till the next problem pops up. (Knock on Wood!!!) Kind of waiting for the detent spring to go. Yikes!!

No, I believe his screen name was Herald18, someone correct me, it's close to that, just passed in the last year, his brother showed up at Maggie Valley in May
