Yep and my bladders only usually good for about this distance.

On ride Friday the light came on at under 1/4 tank and 145 miles. City and highway but mostly highway. Filled with 5.0 gal even at 155 mile, info said I had 20 miles left. Only 1100 miles on this R3T so not broke in yet, might improve.

I ran up 150 miles yesterday until the light came on. I had to drive another 30 miles before I could find fuel. I was sweating it a little but turns out I had only had used 4.8 gallons. After riding a Vmax before this bike, I was hunting for fuel every 100 miles and had about 35 miles on reserve. I am a little hyper-sensitive about fuel and prefer a happy tank!

My 2014 R3T gets about 185-195 on highway trips before the derestricting tune. With the tune I get around 165 on highway. Around town it gets about 135 to 150. These are fillups with 5.5 or more gallons.

Normally 160. Iv'e never had the balls to run over 200 yet.

I usually get gas about every 140 to 160 miles. Much of my riding is on an interstate and the next station might be 40 to 50 miles away.

Even though I don't drive like a "Hooligan" most of the time (heh!); I do enjoy the feel of solid acceleration (quite addicting!!!) and get around 28 miles per gallon (combined city/highway)... giving me a range of around 120 miles before I start searching for fuel.

So after a few more tanks here's my mileage:

34 mpg behaving
31 mpg commuting with a bit of play
28 mpg being a general asshat (normal)
25 mpg stop and go traffic

Probably like 40 mpg if I could get myself to ride at the speed limit on the freeway for a whole tank without traffic (not possible).
