Spearfish, SD = "Harley land"???
You gotta be kidding! :p
Awesome riding has NOTHING to do with MC brand! :whitstling:
PS: This here sounds like a good time, but why is it in the RAA forum?

Just to piss you off Bull.

I may stay in NC if the dumb a$$ Attorney General in Virginia doesn't change his mind on concealed carry reciprocity. Fight or Die America. Are you free men and women or head bowed subjects ? See ya in the bushes.

I'm going to stay in NC regardless. Going by SC reciprocity website in which shows the states that I can carry in it doesn't list VA as one of them.

Have we narrowed it down where we are going to be staying yet? Will the rooms in that area be booked up fast or this not a concern? I've never been to Mayberry Days so didn't know if there is a large attendance or not.

Most attendees drive in for the day. Now that I have some idea of numbers I have been able to negotiate rates for blocks of rooms. I'll post info next week after I hear back from the manager of the first choice which is setup much like the motel (rooms opening to parking lot) like the Maggie Valley location.

I don't want to go off thread here . . . looks bright that freedom-leaning people have slapped the Governor (Virginia) in the face and made him rethink the executive order to revoke VA reciprocity with 25 states, and the news last two days has been full of Bloomberg's groups yelling foul and betrayal and the rest of us looking at righting wrongs. The original date for terminating reciprocity was 1 February, and this week that was pushed back to 1 March to give the legislature time to work the official legislation (the Governor claimed he was just enforcing Republican-enacted laws, so those citations are being "corrected" -- basically to remove the Governor and Attorney General's authority to interpret that section of the law). Could still fall apart -- but the Governor is looking at a veto-proof bipartisan majority to pass something in response to the Governor's unilateral executive actions.

Back to your regularly scheduled program.

Somewhere on the WWW is a post that shows which few state CCW permits are needed to ride freely around the country.
