MAYBERRY DAYS 2016

I called around there folks and everything with fridges is booked. Make a decision and if you decide on the hollows motel it needs to be booked today or tomorrow.

A lot of places I have been checking on has been booked since last September. That's why I was glad to hear that the Hollows had not started taking reservations as of yet. I know last year it was full during Mayberry days and the Autumn leaves festival so I assumed I would again hear "we've been booked for over a year now".
I'll check the Hampton Inn off exit 93 as it is where the Triumph car gathering is every May. It's about 8 miles from Mount Airy and just a mike or so from this areas largest vineyard.

I am ready to pull the trigger if you guys have made up your mind. If someone brings some squeezens no fridge is needed

I'm going by the Hampton Inn tomorrow. Will see if I can work out a block. Plan to try to connect in their thoughts and minds with the large Triumph car gathering they have every year.

I have located lodging that has not yet booked up. The rooms open to the parking lot, each has a fridge and microwave, free wifi- nice rooms. I spoke with the manager and she gave a room rate of $76.95/night plus applicable taxes which is excellent considering that is for each night includIng the weekend. It is in Dobson. Right off I-77 (exit 93) and approximately 10 miles from Mount Airy. Three food joints around it with the one right beside it- Surry Diner having the absolute best Prime Rib I have ever eaten plus excellent breakfast.

The motel specifics-
The Surry Inn
2340 Zephyr Rd
Dobson, NC 27017
Phone- 336-366-3000 (Ask for JULIE EUBANKS and tell her you are with the Triumph motorcycle gathering.)

Thank you @UKAlumni93 for finding that.

I don't know who I spoke to on the phone at 2200 on a Friday night (web site says their hours are 0600-2300); she instantly responded when I mentioned "Triumph", with the rate you quoted.

Reservations made for the wife and me, arriving Wednesday 21 September and departing Saturday morning the 24th. Hopefully in between we'll have a chance to meet some Rocket captains, and catch at least the highlights, ideally leaving with a taste for more.
