.060 Over
After over a year of agony repairing the girl when she spit-out a valve destroying pistons and head, and before working relentlessly to figure out a poor-running issue (ended up being plugged injectors from it sitting so long) among other things.. I pulled her out on her maiden voyage post-repairs last night and she passed the 30 mile ride with no drips/drops/leaks or parts falling off.
Before the valve eating (I did a post on this) I had done many changes to the bike, to include my wonderful Viking pipes. I've had so much help from many of you and every tid-bit added value.
Thank you. I have at times, not been patient, but did keep at it.
So, to update, here's the bike with these changes made during the re-build:
New powder coat paint.
Coils replaced with Coil-over-plugs (makes a ton of room under the tank)
New tires, smaller front, bigger rear (greatly improved handling)
Leather bags and quick-releases
Changes made before the re-build (So many)
Viking Header with Reinhart muffler
K&N air
Smog-gut
Double TT bars (true Harley conversion - did a post on this)
Stebel horn
Ignition switch relocate (love this) to left leg
mono-light up front (did a post on this)
Big crash bars (love THOSE too... did a post on this)
I'm sure there's more.....
Anyway, just wanted to say thank you to everyone that helped.... maybe I can return the favor sometime (Pay it forward).
