I must apologize for my riding skills as they are quite ruff. I am better then the old days. But I think I had a edge this time do to lifes turmoil's. Sure glad graywolf took me out after church to dispel some of them evil creatures. Anyway I can say I road Ricks bike several times harder and harder testing that Michelin front tire he had on. Man what a blast. I did notice when I got back the rear max was quite slippery in the parking lot. Glad you had a extra wheel Rick.

Post warp drive civilization, the slow lane awaits hehe

I will admit my buddy on his Harley ( I don't know what it is they all look the same to me) was waxing my rear on the really curvy roads on my 2011 with stock Metzlers that I don't know the age of. I wish I could replay with my 2005 with the new Chromes on it. I might feel a little better. But no way can he run away from me on the open road.

Triumph tt600 had the best handling and braking of any bike I ever rode, but had poor mapping/fuelling issues, gsxr 600 a close second without the flaws.

I have a mate in the UK who races sporadically and does lot's of Track Days to keep his skills up.
His advice to me was - START SMALL - when you can keep up with the instructor - go up a notch.

Buy a nice used proper 100% track bike. Because - let's face it - it's probably going to get dropped.
