Maggie valley June 2019

You guys talking about boots, I absolutely love the Merlins I bought. Out of the box comfort.
Anyway, I was wondering if any RedWing fans remember the oil and brush they use to keep at the front door of their stores. Just walk in, oil your boots and leave. Very convenient. They quit doing it 20 years ago. Somebody probably sued them

Playing devils advocate here. I understand west coast guys wanting a ride closer to them. I work alot of hours and if I wasnt so close to Maggie I wouldn't be going. Plus my bike is naked so long distance rides are a bit uncomfortable. If they want to get together more power to them. More rides equal more places to ride

A couple 0f months ago I think I mentioned I would like to come this trip. I called Gabby and got on the waiting list for a room. She called later and had one for us. I should probably call and confirm but we're leaving Tuesday to get there Wednesday. Yes put us on the list and make sure the cooks bring plenty!

Coordination would be a good thing! Instead of 'separate events' run a 'series'.

So us retired guys could travel the country going from rally to rally...have them set up in a good geographic order on successive weekends. You working blokes can join in when the neareast one comes your way.

I think this will be the largest, Colorado probably holds the record now, I want to say about 50, but I don't remember the number.

my problem also might get 5 to 6 hours at the house during work week west coast ride been set up for a long time but most chose maggie,a rolling raa has been mentioned no one seemed interested aint going to put bad mojo here start another thread

I think it was handled fine, Steve waited, as he said, until everyone was set for Maggie Valley before he announced it. Unless you are retired and/or wealthy, a coast to coast ride takes a lot of time and money. Hope you feel better this morning and see you soon.
