Ok folk I just found that a trip to Maggie is in my future I'll be traveling with a Harley guy. The hotel website is saying it's booked up but haven't reached anyone by phone yet. So just wondering what alternative hotels to consider just in case.

We're staying down the road @ Travelowe's.
I think some are @ Comfort Inn across road.
Probably others as well.

So I have made reservations at River Point lodge. That seems to be as close as I can get to the holiday. Anybody been there?

Quite a few modified bikes will be at MV some 210hp like mine some over 245 like Warp and Steel and a few others --- we could be heading for a showdown

Travelowes is the closest to A Holiday. If you are trying to book at Holiday Inn that is different from where we are all staying.

A Holiday is sold out as are the other two across the street. I got as close and as cheap as I could find. Travelowes is sold out!

Well at least you're attending, which is the important thing. Also, the owner of the Holiday put me on a cancellation wait list but also told me to check back the week before. They always get cancellations. Travelowes has a 24 hour cancel policy so that it not an issue.
