@1BigDog don't cash in your chips just yet. Like Jay said, ya got 4 months left to heal up. Even if you wait until the last week to cancel, the room will still be used by someone on the waiting list.

Thanks Bill and Jay but after trying for 6 months so far with no significant improvement I think it’s best all around to not attend. While some days are ok, I have still not gotten back to my old comfort zone. My only regret will be the fact that I will not get to meet many of you this time around.

Considered that but coming in a car to a bike event is like taking your mom with you on a date. Besides, I just unbooked my pet sitter for that week and she is already booked! that week Maybe I should look into doing that myself... There will be others to attend in the future.

Around the campfire in the evening as we pass the time of days gone by we are all equal and it matters not what we have in the parking lot. I won't have my bike there either. Just saying. Bring an appetite and lawn chair and gasoline money. This is a UNIQUE family of friends. We want you to come sit with us @1BigDog and bring a good camera along. There's even a casino in Cherokee not far away. Or Gatlinburg, the BRP a few minutes away, elk viewing and on and on it goes. Come here friend.

Guess I will be the first. I will not be able to attend Maggie Valley in June. Although I was truly looking forward to meeting all of you I still do not feel stable enough on the bike 2 up to even take the chance. When I booked I thought that would have improved over the following few months but when I tried to hold up the bike with my wife on it, it was not pretty. So, rather than putting myself, my wife, or anyone else around me in danger I will bow out now.

I do have a room available at the Motel. If anyone wants it, let me know. I will hold it for another week before I cancel it.

"IF" you find that you're not going to be able to make it... I will take your room. I called Rob at the motel and he has me on the waiting list if anyone cancels.
