No I did'nt get a chance to ride it, only sat and drooled a little bit at the dealers.
My first impressions as I see it:
Pro's
The fit & finish was superb
Cruise Control
Standard passenger grab rails
Standard sissy bar & pad
Standard Hwy Bars
Super comfy seat
Belt Drive
Top case available soon (so says the sales dude)
Con's
seating position too close to tank
wind screen was too tall for me and this is @ 6'
wind screen was also slanted back way too far
All in All the pro's out weighed the Con's and by the time you put on some slip on's, Bak and pcv that 1700cc motor will perk up quite nicely.
I still think the R3T is a better machine but Triumph needs to understand that if they want to continue to compete in the American Cruiser market Bare Bones isn't the way to do it "no matter how big the engine is".
Hope my litte review didn't tic anybody off
