Lifting that heavy bike.

I have used a cheap lift from harbor freight for 5 years and 5 sets of tires, and have left it up high on the lift for several days at a time. It works fine but I will admit I am always relieved when the bike is back on the ground again.:D

Thanks for the information. I'll check that web-site The shop that I bought the bike from said they lift them up by the engine. I just can't bring myself to do that. Thought about using an automotive two ton engine hoist and a few well placed straps through the frame.

Checking his website won't help. You'll need to send him a PM describing your dilemma.

Ugart has more miles on his and has had it longer. I have had my Harbor Freight MC lift for 4 years and 3 sets of tires. I have had good service out of it with no problems doing many upgrades, cleanings, etc, I use it to work on the car too, one wheel at a time though.
