Works well, I have lent it to others and they like it although when you release it (Bring it down) It does come down fast.

Mine works nice and slow when I use a crescent wrench to release the hydraulic pressure instead of the long steel rod.
 
I had some made,
sold a bunch to the guys here for just what they cost me, $25.00 a set.
They're a piece of 2, maybe 2.5 inch steel angle with a 1/2" diameter piece of steel welded on
to run through the holes where the center stand is suppose to go.
Got a picture someplace....
here they are.

the cord is to hold them together when they're not in use,
and so ya can see it hanging down when ya take her off the lift.
cause believe it or not,
some folks have forgot em and lost one.

Are these still available? I would be very interested if they are
