Life is good on the rocket X

I've had three RIIIs, a standard and two Roadsters. All three have been solid bikes for me. Most of the time when I have an issue it's related to aftermarket stuff.

Looks like Mulholland Drive!

Near Devil's Punch Bowl State Park on Big Pines Hwy between Wrightwood & Valyermo in the high desert. The Rock Store on Mulholland in Malibu is a great place to take a hot pillion for posing and 'Star' gazing; but offers far too dense civilian as well as Police population for a proper "Ride" IMO.

Tis yet a great ride.
I know they ruined the Ortega years ago!
CA has many top tier twisties IMHO!
Just watch out for turn one leaving Alice's Restaurant on the La Honda Road!

"Turn one" looks interesting(I googled it). Too my loss I've had opportunity for few "rides" in northern California. The Ortega, Santiago Canyon between the late Saddleback off road park and Mission Viejo both victims to suburban sprawl.

Newcomb's Ranch on the Angeles Crest Highway could possibly learn from Alice's menu; but they did add a bar, and a Pro Italia moto-wear boutique. It's Sooooo Hollywood:rolleyes:

The left leg prior to 2 plates & 13 screws.
Would have been MUCH worse had i been fanging the curve and not poking along at 20-25 with head inserted up butt, gandering about.

Just wanted to say my R3R is seven months old, 3000 miles, and it runs like a dream. I'm a Triumph fan through and through.

I am on my 7th Rocket, and have logged over 238,000 Km's on them. Only problem I have ever had was a recall on the 05 Model for the Final Drive unit.

Even my 280 RWHP NOS drinking monster had no failures.

Guess I am a happy camper.
