rocket three x
Wow. We have 6,000 miles on the Rocket X we bought two months ago and have no problems at all. I keep reading about people who have not been so lucky. I am kind of wondering if the people who have not had a problem with their bikes are just keeping quiet while the world keeps turning. I can fully understand posting something screwed up on a bike that should not be , But surely I can not be the only person who bought the Rocket X and have not had any problems at all. The only ***** I have had is the headlights.Changed out the bulbs and it works fine. The bike is a dream come true type of deal. Many thanks to the guys at Triumph who designed and built the bike. It is really a piece of art work. The paint job is out of this world. The performance is mind blowing. Many years of riding many of miles this bike is by far the BEST. I still walk out at times and look at the bike on the front porch and get all teared up. It is just plain awesome. THANK YOU TRIUMPH.

Now I have separation anxiety!!!! As I am in Japan
Nice write up mate.

Being new to the R3R and Triumph I take solace in your report. Having ridden a score of bikes over the last 40 years and 6 of them being BMWs I can say they all can have weaknesses and oversights as well as fall into hands of operators that could rip the heart out of Dracula.

I too am totally loving the MASSIVE visceral satisfaction and visual 'presence' of my R3R. I hope any outstanding "weaknesses and oversights" are found and remedied in the warranty period, ultimately enabling the below odometer reading caught yesterday while riding my K1200R.

My 05' has had it's share of problems, but nothing I couldn't fix myself. Would I buy this bike again knowing what I know now ? Posi-f_cking-tively ! I haven't ridden a lot of other bikes and don't feel the desire too.

I just purchased the R3R last weekend and I am loving it to death even with my fair share of issues.

I have the power loss problem on the downshift, a janky mirror (just got that fixed) and yesterday when I was gearing up to ride and noticed my turn signals weren't working. Brake light was running but wouldn't light up when pressed down. Was headed back to the dealer again when I decided to stop and check fuses, everything checked out. Unscrewed the control housing and checked wires, everything looked fine, put it back together and tested again. They worked again! I think maybe a pinched wire in the housing, maybe dealership put them on at a bad angle.

Hoping no other issues, hopefully you get yours fixed soon

Have a 2013 R3R, zero problems. Only thing that has happened is I left the key on, drained the battery and ended up having to take it somewhere to get it charged. My little Battery Tender couldn't get it done. Was at my daughter's house so no big deal. No bulbs not working, shifts fine, runs strong. Only critical thing I have to say is there should be a reasonable option to move the pegs forward!!!! Long legged guys suffer on distance rides on this bike or at least I do.

Only problem I've had with my 2010 is the battery not being able to crank it in the cold. This was down to a knackered battery and trying to start when the bike was below freezing.

Looks like Mulholland Drive!
