Let's talk mirror replacements

I ordered them for the R3T but found that the part that the mirrors goes thru is raised on one side and I couldn't use them

Something on the R3T prevented you from using Kuryakyn mirrors? Would that interfere with the Kuryakyn Magnum Plus or was it something specific to the Ellipse?

croft...the Kuryakin Eclipse mirrors would not go straight in because of the angle of the plastic on the one side where it goes in.

I have the Triumph tear drops, love them!

Yep I have the triumph tear drops with drilled billet stems, less distortion from vibration and great vision as well as looking scmick.

Have them sitting in the garage waiting for install. Maybe this weekend while she's all ripped up for the EB kit and ignition fixes?

The right side (throttle) mirror will be a tight fit and you may have to fool with it some to get it properly adjusted.
Be patient, it's well worth the effort.

The latter. The lights on both the forward and rear sides are very bright; in fact, the rear side signals take some getting used to at night due to brightness. You won't forget to turn them off!

These are designed to wire in parallel with the stock turn signals. Without the stock signals they get way too much power and require resistors to slow them down, LED's have quite low power use compared to incandescents.
