Let's talk mirror replacements

At your age .. with the failing eyesight , tone deafness (obviously) and poor attention levels .. just keep your eyes on the road ahead of you , not behind ok tiger.

Do you run the insert thing that comes with the mirrors ? I ditched mine and have no noticeable vibration .. will be swapping my chrome teardrops for black ones shortly.

Yes if I remember correctly.... I would have used them if they was there to be used. lol
I guess I need to take them off and see what's going on.

I put a set of VMax mirrors on mine. Just unscrewed the Triumph round ones from the stem and replaced with the new ones.

Here is a universal adapter that gives a bigger varity to pick from. I kinda like those black tears drop made by Triumph. I went with the Harley billet style oval mirror on the RK for $200 and lovem. 91513-99

I like the black teardrops but with all the chrome on the R3T not sure how it wd. look.

I always have opinions. The teardrops are available in chrome too.

I really liked the Kuryakin Eclipse mirrors as they really worked well with my 2007 Rocket Classic and my 2010 Thunderbird. I ordered them for the R3T but found that the part that the mirrors goes thru is raised on one side and I couldn't use them...not too happy about that as I wanted the convex visibility that they had. Still have the OEM's on for now.
